Chapter 127 of Mended Hearts, Inc. in response to families who have requested a way to honor a lost family member, loved one, or friend who has succumbed to life-ending cardiac conditions, has now provided an optional way to do that. Such monetary memorial gifts can make a significant difference in the lives of other cardiac patients.
Mended Hearts, Inc. is recognized by the IRS as a 501c(3) non-profit organization. You can be assured that 100 per cent of your donations to Chapter 127 are used wisely and effectively in providing hope and encouragement to critically affected local cardiac patients and toward solely meeting the mission of Mended Hearts. Chapter 127 is a LOCAL organization that serves the Tennessee Upper Cumberland Area. Your gift remains at work in your own Tennessee home area.
You can choose to make your donation a fully unrestricted gift for immediate on-going programs or as a designated gift for a specific purpose such as AED purchase, rehab or medical equipment, and so forth.

Flowers are pretty, sometimes even awesome, and they are a common gift at certain times to express love, sympathy, caring, support, and friendship. However, flowers are only temporary and many times families ask that in lieu of flowers, or in addition to flowers, that donations be sent on behalf of a living or deceased heart patient to a favorite charity or worthwhile cause where they may be used in more lasting and meaningful ways to help other cardiac patients.
