At the annual Chapter 127 Christmas party in December 2006, Chapter President Tom Little received the coveted "Mended Heart of the Year" award for the Southeastern Region of Mended Hearts, Incorporated. Donette Smith, SE Regional Director of Mended Hearts is shown presenting the award.
In accepting the award, Tom recognized and thanked all of the officers, committee members, and volunteers of Chapter 127 who have worked throughout the year on visiting cardiac patients, fundraising events for AED's, health fairs, displays, training programs, and all the other events that have made Chapter 127 a vibrant and growing chapter of the national organization.
